This scene is just outside Canberra Australia near NASA's deep space tracking dishes that talk to the Voyager spacecraft. The granite valley keeps out radio interference so they can hear the weak signals coming from beyond Pluto. Inspired by (but by no means resembling) the oil paintings of Arthur Streeton in Australia's National Gallery nearby. I was trying to capture just how bright and hard the sunlight is here in Australia. Painted in Paintstorm.
